We got back from our adventure in Colorado early this morning. I would have gotten more sleep but apparently my kittehs missed me. That's ok. I missed them too.
So that official 1.5 I gained in my last post?....gone. Aunt Flo came, and with that the bloat and the crabbiness and the weight all left. Which was awesome, cuz then I went to Colorado. But I was not left in charge of the grocery list when we packed for our 16 hr drive...or for the 4 days of camping. Bacon, eggs, sammiches, Cokes, coffee, sausages, hot dogs, beer, chips...all consumed. I tried very hard to keep things fairly proportioned and not over indulge. Walking to the bathroom (which is not a fun walk when you wake up in the middle of the night, have to crawl over your fiancé, find the flashlight, find the zipper, try not to wake anyone and pray you don't run into a bear or mountain lion on your way to or from the bathroom) and taking a nice 3.5 mile hike helped...and I think because of the elevation we were in our bodies had to do twice the work.
I wasn't terribly happy with our drive back. All we did was stop at McDonald's. coffee and coffee and coffee mocha drinks and fries and a hamburger. I did not eat all of the fries I bought. I probably had about a small-size worth when all was said and done. I was terrified to weight myself.
Before I left I weighed in at 125.3
This morning I was 125.6
It makes me wonder-where would I be if I didn't over do it? But, I am happy I kept things proportionate, and I am happy I had some activities. Now I need to amp it up!!!
My wedding is in 2 months!
Hey-what do y'all think?
Seriously SERIOUSLY torn right now. There are things about them both that I love, and one isn't cheaper than the other....so I can't just play the "economical card". I seriously need help.
But beyond all the wedding and theater stuffs I have to do I just want to set one simple goal amongst this chaos.
Lose 5lbs by my wedding. That's all. Whether its through good eating, exercise, whether its losing excess weight or just toning up muscles. I do want to seriously tone up my arms before the wedding so I'm going to find my weights and do the p90x arms and back work out.
And water. Lets all have a water week. I know I'm lookin forward to it!!!
