I've got nothing much to report in - my DH has been down the past week and a half with the flu - the doctor gave him some powerful antibiotics so he is most certainly on the mend. However, with the stress of taking care of him and worrying about him, and still looking for a job, I didn't do very well at all on my personal goals. I'm up two pounds to 165.0. Yet, today, I'm feeling better, he's back to work, I've got my game plan in place between water and eating smartly and tracking, and doing my 12 reps of strength training. A slip, but I'm working my way back up. So I'll make this short and sweet - here's to a week of doing what's best for me. And you do it for you too, my dear team mates!

Onward and upward. It's always herd to stay on track when you're taking care of someone else. Crossing all my fingers and sending so many good thoughts out for you!

Hope you can get back to taking care of you this week. So glad your DH is doing better! That will surely make it easier. Hoping for good news on the jobfront too!

Ooh, hope you don't catch what he had! Wishing you strength as you get back on track!

They say it doesn't matter how many times we fall down (or slip, as you say), but how many times we get up. Sounds like you're up and ready to tackle the week with some renewed energy. Hope you stay well, and I'll see you in Kenosha tomorrow afternoon.....

In an effort to gain control of some part of her life, Laila has decided the “secretary spread” has gone far enough. Eating well and exercising has come and gone over the years, yet consistency remains elusive. Currently a size 12-14 her goal is to be a firm and confident 8-10 in time for her husband’s birthday, December 22, 2013, and still be there for his next birthday.
