I was surprised to see the last time I posted was April 4th, as I've been weighing myself all along. Oh well, this will bring me up to date. On April 4th I was happy to post that I was in the 173's finally. Well, since that time I went up into the 175's, and just this morning got back down to 174.0. So in summary - today's a good weigh in considering what I'd gained since April 4th. We went to dinner with friends last night to a very classy Italian Restaurant in Oak Park before we went to a play. Luckily I didn't like my entrée (tortellini), so I only ate half of it. That was plenty. We didn't have time for dessert but said we'd stop on the way home, so I was looking forward to that splurge. It was 10 p.m. before we got out of the play, and the others were ready to high tail it home - WHAT? what happened to dessert? Oh well - I was rewarded on the scale and I enjoy that more than I would have that dessert.
I'll continue to try to keep cutting down and eating light, but healthy. I have to quit figuring out how much I can get away with and still lose weight.... We eat out a lot, and I don't always make healthy choices. If I'm paying that much for my food, I want what I want! LOL.
