Hey - I think I just managed to change the date under my picture AND got into this space to blog. That's a first.... Will make this short and sweet as I know how busy you all are... A week ago it was a good week cause prior to that I had hit 172.something, but got back down to 169.something last week, and this morning I'm at 168.4. Need to start doing the math again, and I will. I had no splurges last week, but didn't eat as much healthy stuff as I should. WW says you lose faster by feeding the furnace (our bodies), or it'll slow down the burn. I'd rather not eat all day, and while I'm not doing that anymore, I know I could improve my meals. Scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast yesterday, a yogurt and banana for lunch, and pasta (not too much) and roll for dinner. That's pretty good for me, and I'll try to keep it up. Good luck to all of you....
I'm anxious to report a really good week. Sorry I skipped last week but when I saw that 172+ on the scale for the first time in a long time I was bummed. I worked hard this week, mostly cause I saw my doc yesterday, and wanted to get it at least under 170, and I did. Ate right and drank lots of water. Didn't stop for my usual treat on the way home, instead had a healthy lunch with a friend. Since Sheri joined WW I'm determined to work harder too, so thanks to Sheri for renewing my energy for this. I'm at 169.6 this morning and gonna work hard this week. If you're diabetic, and I am, it's important for your A1C to be under 7 and for over ten years I've been around 6.5. I'm maintained on pills, don't need insulin, yet. Six months ago at my checkup I was 5.9, and that was after I'd been exercising. I haven't exercised during this last six months so was worried, but... it's still 5.9. While that's a good thing, it's also bad. I knew if it had gone up that would be my incentive to exercise again, but hey - no exercise and I'm still at 5.9 ????? I know, I know, I should still do it, and I think I will, but I'll have to find new incentive. Thanks for reading, gotta hit the road now...
