Last I wrote I was headed to Alaska to cruise and celebrate my 45th wedding anniversary with my husband... Been there done that and had a great time. I always gain about 5 pounds on a cruise, but don't seem to have too much trouble taking it off afterwards. I think that's because I eat so much on a cruise it almost feels good to come home and not have eat 3 times a day with snacks and drinks inbetween meals. But I did make a little more effort on this cruise knowing I'd be coming back and reporting to any of you who are still with me on this journey, but... still gained 5 pounds. Oh well - came home last Wednesday and today weighed in at only .6 pounds more than when I left. Not bad, huh? I'm at 167. Hooray. Gives me incentive to really get back on track. I know part of that loss was due to a day of dizziness and nauseaus, which is gone now, but didn't eat for about a day and a half. Feels good to have my energy back today, and I'm planning on having a great week. Thanks for reading, and good luck to you too.
I always believe God is Good, but some weeks He just seems more loving than others.
Hooray - I'm in the 167's, after breezing through the 168's. Not sure how that happened, but I'm taking it! I weighed 167.6 this morning, so I'm down one pound from last week. It's a good week for this to happen because I'm headed to Alaska to cruise with my husband as we celebrate 45 years of wedded bliss. (not kidding about the wedded bliss either - I truly married my very best friend). We've done this cruise many times and love it, so looking forward to going again. I certainly won't pig out on the cruise, but I will enjoy the food. Let's just put it that way. So God was Good to me this week by keeping me on program, and also by giving my daughter strength to get through what she did to land that job as a client liaison at that weight loss clinic. Keep her in your prayers and by all means - follow and support her here on Getting There. It really helps her. Well, thanks for reading and supporting, and I'll report back post-cruise...... |
