I can be "good" for a week or two and lose no weight. I can be "bad" and gain no weight. For instance - this week I ate 4 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in 3 days. Then my 6th graders had a bake sale for 2 days and I won't mention how much I ate. Scale still the same 146.8. So I think Why bother??? I can eat whatever I want and not gain or I can deprive myself and not lose or gain. Frustrated
This coming week is Spring Break and I am going to Bangkok - hopefully lots of walking and fresh food!
I got a text from my gym and it is reopening!!! After 9 weeks of being closed (when they said it would be closed for 4-5 days - oh. Indian time) So I texted my trainer and started March 31st, we are starting weight training again. I haven't gained any weight since the gym has been closed but I have gotten softer.
So for April and May, my plan is to do weight training with him three times a week and keep up with my jogging and walking. I don't use the cardio machines a lot at the gym because I get stared at a lot. I wear shorts that go to my knees and I wear a shirt that covers my shoulders and is long. But I still get stared at. Maybe they are not used to seeing a chubby white person sweating like a pig!!! Indian's don't use AC a lot (they do in malls etc, but not in a lot of other public buildings) and the gym is HOT!!! People don't bother me if I'm with Nilendra. I'm kind of the masscot in there. The other people with trainers are buff Indian men. I think the other trainers get a kick out of me and Nilendra because we are the only ones that look like we are having fun. I'm giggling when he puts too much weight on and I look ridiculous because I can't lift it. I make him and whoever is around me clap and cheer when I do great like hold a plank for 90 sec. I seriously make him clap. I need reinforcement!! Before the gym closed, I was doing weights with Nilendra and doing all my cardio by myself, but I might try to do some at the gym. Nilendra used to be a runner so he can help me get ready for my half marathon in Ireland this summer.
I've decided that posting every other week works best for me. I get two stressed weighing in every week.
