I was really frustrated, but now I have renewed commitment.
I was got for 12 days to Vienna, Istanbul, and Jerusalem and I didn't gain a singe ounce!! Proud of myself.
I weighed in on Tuesday when I got back 153.6. On sunday I weighed 151.6 - 2 pounds in less than a week!
I ran the half marathon in Jerusalem with NO TRAINING. Seriously. I ran 5k ONE time in the 6 months before the race and I finished in 3 hours 30 minutes. I always finish, but I always think to myself " If I would actually train and lose 10 pounds a half marathon would be so much easier!" I am pretty sure I am going to run the Chicago Half on July 20th. Anyone want to join me?? It would be nice to meet some of you. The time limit is 3.5 hours and it is really flat so you can totally run/walk it. My goal is to train for it this time. I am also hiking the Inca trail in June so the better shape I am in, the better!
This week's goals
Drink nothing but water and crystal lite. - NO soda, no juice.
Strength train at the gym 3 times.
run 2-3 km on the treadmill after strength training.
Hike stairs or walk 3 other days of the week.
