I got back to India today. 156.6! It is horrible what a couple of weeks of inactivity can do to you! I was talking to my friend about this blog and how upset I was that I wasn't making more progress. I told her that I thought confessing my weight to the public would make me straighten up but apparently "shame doesn't work for me". she thought that was hilarious! I asked if she wanted to contribute to the blog, but she said shame wouldn't work for her either. :) We made a pact to lose 25 pounds by the time I get back to the US. That is a completely doable 5 pounds a month. We can do this! My sister needs to lose weight after her second kid and we were talking about losing weight would help us look better and feel better, but it would also save money by not eating so much!! Eating less packaged food would help our weight and the environment. There are lots of plusses to losing weight.
