Thank you so much, Team Sheri, for chiming in left and right this week- you guys were the angels on my shoulder keeping me accountable. I was not even tempted to skip a workout or eat an Egg White Delight this week... not pigging out at dessert was a little more difficult, but I managed to keep on the straight and narrow. My only slip-up was the night Chris brought home Starburst flavored candy corn, and I do not blame him for putting that temptation into my path. When you find a true source of wonder and delight, you have to share it. Because who knew that was a thing?
I ended up weighing in a day and a half early for a few reasons. First of all, Sunday is a really full day- I'm shooting a commercial most of the day (my first time on camera, and it's a paid gig!) and I have a rehearsal that night. So even though I have to work tomorrow (I'm writing this on Friday night), there will still be more time to Eat All the Things than there would be on Sunday.
But I'm thinking of switching back to Saturday being Eat All the Things day, anyway... it might help me to be a little bit more moderate, seeing as eight hours of the day will be spent at work. And it will spread out the happy in my weekend. Sundays have been wonderful lately, between no work and Eating All the Things, but Saturdays and Mondays are horrible because they just can't compare. So maybe I'll just enjoy Eating All the Things on Saturdays and enjoy not working on Sundays. We'll see how it feels this weekend.
And I'm weighing in on Friday night instead of Saturday morning because Saturdays I have to get up so early for work, I'd rather do this tonight and spend the extra 15 minutes in bed tomorrow. If I'm going to start weighing in on Friday nights, this is a good time to start, because the scale has been very kind this week and I knew I'd still get a good number. Which I did. :)
Here's hoping I can keep on this trajectory next week! And thank you again to the people who sent encouraging messages and texts that were persistent but never obnoxious! I have the awesomest support around me, I am just the luckiest. Here's me with just one of the people who cheered me on this week. This, by the way, is Laila, who should not be so scared of having her picture taken, because she's adorable, isn't she?
