I've never put off blogging this long- since I weighed in on Friday, I am essentially two days late! I don't know if its just that I'm not happy with my efforts or my result this week, or I don't feel like I have much to say- but I hope it doesn't last because I usually really enjoy writing my post. So this'll be brief, but here it is. I gained 1 pound this week.

Part of the gain was due to bad behavior on Easter and the day after... not so much during our lovely family get together, but I overindulged on jelly beans for a couple of days, which led to eating a half a bag of Doritos (not a snack bag, either!) and justifying that I needed to "get the tempting food out of the house". Ridiculous. It's been a long time since I used that excuse on myself. To my credit, I did eat very lightly for the rest of the day and even went short on my points the following day to make up for it.
I was perfectly in line Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday- I think I'm noticing a trend that I struggle the most on Sundays and Mondays. So I need to focus particularly on those days. I'm going to try Simply Filling (which is essentially what Simple Start is called after the first two weeks) for the early part of this week, to get myself off to a good start, and I'll stay with it if it's coming easy, and switch back to points on Wednesday if I'm struggling.
That's all the steam I have for this week... it might seem like I'm kind of down in the dumps, and I'm not, really- I've just got some other things on my mind and my motivation is kinda low right now. Cross your fing
