Next week's weigh in is kind of a big deal, as it will be my first official employee weigh in. As long as I don't gain, it'll be okay even if I'm not yet at 174. First of all, there's a two pound cushion, so as long as I'm under 176 there's no action taken. But even if I gain a smidge next week, it'll still be alright, because it's not like I'm leading a meeting yet... I'm still a couple of months away from that. It looks like I will get to travel to attend that two day seminar, but details are still being worked out. Then I'll do a couple more meeting observations, lead a couple of meetings while being observed, and then have my own meeting! Or they may have me just sub for a while, which would be okay, too!
I'm looking forward to Easter this Sunday, and I'm not overly worried about cheating... I'm not terribly tempted by Easter candy, and all I have to do is tell Natalie not to let me raid her basket and she will happily enforce that. Easter dinner, hosted by the lovely Amanda, shouldn't be too hard. The day is more about spending time with my awesome family than it is about food. I'll give you a report next week!
Next week, I'll also focus on my ActiveLink... This week it has just been doing an assessment on how much I move in everyday life, and I was encouraged NOT to do any working out that isn't a part of my normal routine. If jogging a couple of times were a part of my normal routine, then it would have, but as much as that is my goal it's just not where I am... Starting Sunday, the assessment will be done and it'll enter Challenge Mode- hopefully that will inspire me to kick it up a notch!
