Welp, I'm up for the second week in a row. Mother nature came this week (so at least I can blame some of the weight on her), but really, this uptick is more my mounting stress and because of that, my lack of working out.
I worked 10-12 hour days all week because of the sheer amount of work on my plate right now (and there is no end in sight) and because of this I really had no desire to get out of the house to work out. I didn't overeat (much) but I'm sure the constant anxiety I'm experiencing right now is not helping my body get rid of anything.
I have so many goals for this upcoming year, but really, right now, I just want to get through the next two weeks. I've only got Wednesday (Christmas) off this week, and to be perfectly honest I'm worried about the extra time off anyway and would ALMOST rather just work and get things done (almost). So here are my (very small) goals for this week.
Drink Water (I barely got any fluids in last week at all, let alone water)
Stop thinking about work when I'm no longer in the office (I may have to work 12 hour days, but the projects facing me right now are not something that are improved by my thinking about them when I'm not in front of the computer).
Do not stuff myself on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (Savor all the food so that it feels worth it).
Enjoy the time I have with friends and family this week (don't spoil it by thinking of all the things I need to do the next morning).
Attempt to get out for a run (either at the gym, or outside).
That's it. I apologize or being so short, and for being utterly self centered this past week. I'll try to be better.
